Thank you card for Mrs. Barker

What a day we had yesterday at World Thinking Day! The girls did so well working at the table, talking to fellow Girl Scouts about Denmark and going from country to country (table to table) to have their passports stamped. Everyone enjoyed our authentic Danish Pastry very much! A huge thank you to Kirsten for not only making the display but for bringing artifacts, food and music from Denmark for our display.

Wednesday is a meeting day and Ellie and Ariel have snack. We will start working on our Celebrating Community badge. The Picnic Day parade will be a very important component of earning this badge. Please let me know if your daughter will be marching in the Picnic Day parade April 21st. I will have waivers for you to sign that are due by April 5th. I also need one or two parent volunteers to march with me. We would like the girls to wear either Brownie tees, vintage uniforms or modern uniforms for Picnic Day in honor of the 100th anniversary. If you are able to do so, please let me know so I can figure out participation. The parade starts at 10 but we will be at the staging area before 9. Usually the marching is about an hour or so and then we meeting parents either along the parade route or at the end of the parade route for pick up near UC Davis.
Please have the girls bring their Brownie Girl's Guide to the meeting Wednesday.
