The girls had a great time horseback riding yesterday. It was wonderful to have so many parents stay and watch. Thank you for all of your support and participation. If anyone is interested, on Wednesdays WJ Cutting has a riding session similar to what the girls did yesterday for $25. I don't know the exact time and duration but I will email Tracy and then get everyone more information. It is a fun thing to have the girls do on non-meeting Wednesdays!

March is gearing up to be a busy month for our troop! Here is the schedule (see the blog for times):

March 3 - Booth Sales (added date) Outdoor Davis
March 10 - Booth Sales: Safeway South
March 17 - Booth Sales: Nugget South/Safeway Marketplace and Outdoor Davis
March 14 - Meeting
March 25 - World Thinking Day - Emerson Jr. High MPR
March 28 - Meeting

We need a card table for booth sales. Please let me know if you have one to lend. We will need two for the March 17th booth sale date and one for World Thinking Day.

The troop is participating in World Thinking Day on March 25th. World Thinking Day not only gives girls a chance to celebrate international friendships, but is also a reminder that Girl Scouts of the USA is part of a global community—one of nearly 150 countries with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. We chose Denmark as our country. Denmark was one of the founding members of WAGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts). The girls will work at our table display for half the time and tour through the displays the other half. They will have a passport that will be stamped at each display.

Please sign up for a one hour time slot for the March 3rd Booth Sale date!
